Free Will

Many of us over the years have been told that we all have free will. What does that mean? According to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary the definition is:

free will
noun
: the ability to choose how to act
: the ability to make choices that are not controlled by fate or God

We find evidence of this in the Bible especially in Genesis chapter 3:

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

You have to ask yourself this question, if God forbid it, why was it actually allowed? This is where free will comes in to play. Just because God forbids an act doesn’t mean we can’t do it. But remember you’re the one ultimately responsible for the right or wrong action and choices.

Getting to my point, even though your country, state or city deems something legal or illegal doesn’t make it right. When you see countless stories of nativities and the 10 commandments being taken down across our land, this is government and godless people telling you that you don’t have a right to this and therefore, telling you what you can and cannot believe.

All these entities need to understand, free will is a GOD GIVEN RIGHT! It doesn’t matter what country you live in, it doesn’t matter what type of government, dictatorship or tyranny you live under, you have the God given right to free will.

Never let anyone dictate to you what your rights are. Primarily, God gave you the free will to judge for yourself what is right and what is wrong. He gave you the ultimate guide, the Bible. Use it to judge when you’re in doubt. These godless heathens may take away our nativities and tear down monuments holding God’s dictation, but they will never take away your free will to know He is Lord.
